actually, it's not balance, bike wheels act as gyroscopes, the faster they go, the harder it is to change the angle they are at, as long as the landing roughly matches the trajectory of the rider, it's pretty much plain sailing, you just need the balls to do it, and a nice grip of your seat with your knees.

nope, it will have been the exact same one because it's a complete bike. mine doesn't look like this anymore though, changed the tyres cause they sucked; they got punctures just from going over dirt (not even joking) and i put a massive split through my handlebars the other day so now i've got white ones. and there's no brake on it either.
